She has been a nurse for 35 years and currently works part time with the Alzheimers population. In her free time, she volunteers with her church and community.
Carolyn Whitener’s first year on staff was 2000. Her favorite part of Girls State is Flag Lowering each night. In the real world, she is a nurse at a doctor’s office. In her free time, she likes to garden and play with her grandchildren.
