Leah Adams is from San Antonio and plans on attending the University of Houston. She plans to major in Business marketing with a minor in Fashion.

Adyson Alexander was a citizen in 2019.

Grace Baen was a citizen in 2009. She graduated from Texas State University San Marcos in May 2014 with a degree in Dance: Performance and Choreography. She lives in Los Angeles and is a movement coach.

Danielle Bartz is the Director of Boards and Commissions for Mayor Sylvester Turner. She holds a Master’s of Public Affairs Degree from the LBJ School as well as a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Government and Spanish -also from the University of Texas.

Alli Bittner attended Girls State in 2010. She graduated in 2015 from Auburn University with a Chemical Engineering degree and currently resides in Houston, where she works for ExxonMobil and is pursuing an MBA at Rice University.

Jalaiyah Bolden attends Abilene Christian University in Abilene.

Jenna Brown was a citizen in 2004. She lives in Manuel with her husband, daughter, and son. Jenna graduated from Texas A&M University and works at Baylor College of Medicine.

Hillary Everts graduated in 2014 from Trinity University where she studied Theatre and Communication, and Arts Management. She is an assistant director of admissions for Trinity University.

Yaiika Fernandez is a born and raised New Englander and attended GS in 2017. She attended Austin Community College and transferred to UT Austin to complete a Health and Society major and Spanish minor.

Meghan Flanagan is a recent graduate of Friendswood HS & will attend The George Washington University and major in International Affairs. She is a Texas Forensic Association Speech & Debate State Champion and an avid lover of student leadership.

Halle Fouch was a citizen in 2018. She will study political science in the fall at Texas A&M.

Eden French is from Denton. She plans to attend UNT in the fall and major in Music Education.

Aime Gallardo was a citizen of Girls State in 1995; she is an elementary teacher in Houston. She graduated from the University of Houston and later pursued her Masters in Education from Southern Methodist University.

Cate Ghormley attends Baylor University where she majors in Public Health and Human Performance.

Lilliebeth Halling graduated from Texas A&M University in 2014. She graduated from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio with her Masters Degree in Deaf Education and Hearing Sciences. She currently teaches preschool students with special needs.

Pollyanna Halling graduated from Texas A&M with a Special Education degree and the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio with a Master’s degree in Deaf Education and Hearing Sciences. She currently teaches children who are deaf.

Kirsten Handler is originally from Tomball. She majors in corporate communication at The University of Texas and works as the Associate Copy Desk Chief at The Daily Texan. She attended Girls State in 2015.

Kate Hartfield, a 2000 citizen of Girls State, has a BS from Cornell University and a JD from the UT School of Law. She worked as an assistant attorney general in Austin before moving to Houston to become an educator. She is the Dean of Professional Growth and Development at St. Thomas HS in Houston.

Perry Hector attends the University of Texas at Austin where she studies Business.

Mauri King graduated from Texas A&M University in 2009 with a degree in political science. Mauri was a citizen in 2004. She has a blog, where she writes about family, hospitality and patriotism and is the author of a children’s book, The Adventures of Pootsey the Wonderbug.

Grace Kiser is from Austin and will be attending Belmont University as an Honors student and Songwriting major.

Katelyn Lancaster is from Keller and is currently studying Aerospace Engineering at Texas A&M University. She was elected County Sheriff during her citizen year in 2019.

Sarah Lanford is a native of Houston and was a citizen in 2013. She is a 2016 graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, where she studied government and Spanish. Sarah currently works in Washington, D.C. as a health policy analyst for a nonprofit.

Maisey Martinez, a 2018 citizen served as GS governor. She plans to attend Texas A&M University with a major in forensics on a pre law track.

Megan McDonald was a citizen in 2020.

Kristen Mills attended Girls State in 2011. Kristen graduated from Texas Tech University.

Neethi Nayak was a citizen in 2012. She graduated from Rice University with a double major in Policy Studies and Sociology. She works as a consultant in the energy industry.

Claire Noel is from Spring. In the fall she will attend Rice University to study Political Science and Social Policy Analysis.

Roxanne Odiorne is from Georgetown, Texas and will be attending Texas Christian University in the fall to major in Psychology and minor in English.

Sarah Prichard attends the University of North Texas where she studies English. She plans to become a journalist and become certified to teach. She is from Rockwall.

Bella Randle is from Tomball. She will be a sophomore next semester at Vanderbilt University in Nashville where she’s double majoring in Political Science and Philosophy.  

Aspen Real is from Carrollton and was a citizen in 2011. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2016 with a degree in Finance.

Becky Rigas attends the University of Texas and majors in Government. She is from Cypress.

Sydney Rubey was a citizen from 2016. She is currently attending graduate school at Abilene Christian University for a Masters of Education in Teaching and Learning.

Sarah Scalia, from Spring, graduated from Harvard in 2015 with a degree in biomedical engineering, and in 2019 with her MBA.

Jessica Scott is originally from the Rio Grande Valley. She practices child welfare law in Austin.

Neha Shaw was a citizen in 2020.

Emalee Spencer was a citizen in 2005. She graduated from the University of North Texas with a Masters of Public Administration with an emphasis in Local Government. She currently works for State Farm as a Risk Analyst.

Cynthia Sun was a citizen in 2020.

Mikaylee Supak was a citizen in 2019.

Imani Tednga (all pronouns) was born in Russia and has been a Texas resident for almost 8 years. They graduated from Greenville High School and are studying Politics/Philosophy/Economics (PPE) at the University of Pennsylvania.

Chloe Thomas, a 2017 citizen, attends Baylor. She is majoring in elementary education.

Anna Passey Trevino grew up in Denton and Brussels, Belgium. A 2013 citizen. she graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with B.A.s in Government and French. Anna lives in Seattle where she is pursuing a Masters of Urban Planning at the University of Washington.

Labiba Uddin was a citizen in 2020.

AP Velasco is from San Antonio. She graduated from The George Washington University with a B.A. in International Affairs and a minor in Film Studies. She is currently a part of the University of Texas LBJ Women’s Campaign School cohort and a Board of Director for the Advancing Latinas Into Leadership Mentor Program.

Emma Watson a 2015 citizen (and a loud and proud Zero), she attends Texas A&M University and studies Public Health.

Allie Watters was a citizen in 2006. She graduated from Texas State with a degree in Public Relations with a minor in French. She now does Marketing for Whataburger.

Jenna White was a citizen in 2007 and was elected Governor. She graduated from UT Austin with a double major in Government and Rhetoric. After graduation, Jenna attended UT Law School.

Kirsten Wolfford was a 2013 citizen and is from Orange. She earned her B.A. in Government from The University of Texas at Austin in 2018 and her J.D. from The George Washington University Law School in 2021. She lives in Washington, D.C. and will work at Carlton Fields in the Fall.

Taylor Wright attended Girls State in 2016. Taylor attends Stanford University and majors in Management Science and Engineering.
